Dimensional Calibration Technician

About the Opportunity:
We have a great opportunity for a dimensional calibration technician to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The qualified candidate will have a professional appearance, strong time management, communication and organizational skills. Position Summary:
Calibration technicians perform routine and complex work related to the calibration of test, measurement and diagnostic equipment. You will assure compliance to our Quality System. Successful candidate will calibrate precision tools including: calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gages, hardness testers, optical comparators, granite surface plates, torque wrenches, force gages and scales.

Requirements Qualified candidates will meet:
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to show a track record of excellent attention to detail
  • Capable of heavy lifting (50 to 80 pounds)
  • Some Overnight Travel required

Electronics Calibration Technician

About the Opportunity:
We have a great opportunity for an electronics calibration technician to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. Position Summary:
Electronics calibration technicians perform routine and complex work related to the calibration of test, measurement and diagnostic equipment. You will assure compliance to our Quality System. Successful candidates will calibrate electronic instruments including transducers, hypots, ovens, tachometers, welders, oscilloscopes, counters, power supplies, accelerometers, as well as equipment related to temperature, humidity, pressure, current, pH, and more.
In addition to calibration, technicians will perform both depot and on-site calibrations, aid in the development of calibration procedures, recommend associated standards, complete applicable documentation related to assignments, and actively participate in a team environment.

Requirements qualified candidates will meet:
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
  • 2+ years of current relevant experience in the calibration of test and measurement equipment.
  • Previous experience working in a formal quality assurance program.
  • Familiarity with office programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Travel in the local area with possible overnight stays dependent on customer needs.
  • Must possess a clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
Desired qualifications:
  • Degree in an electronics discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced training in Metrology (Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD).
  • Familiarity with Fluke MET/CAL calibration software.
