Cincinnati Precision Instruments is partnered with QC Training Services to bring you the technical training needed to support your manufacturing efforts. In addition to our standard Gage Calibration Methods workshops, we are now offering the basics of blueprint reading, GD&T and measurement uncertainty workshops.   

In addition, we are now bringing you CORE TOOLS training - APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.   Take each one as a Public Class offering, or bring on-site for a 5-day seminar.  We can support your training needs.

BLUEPRINT READING FOR INDUSTRY Nov. 28-29  |  $950  |  2 Days
This course is a practical, application-based program that is based on current ANSI standards and includes input from a broad cross-section of industries.

GD&T FUNDAMENTALS Dec. 4-5  |  $845  |  2 Days
This workshop introduces the student to the basics of the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing of the ASME Y14.5M-2009 standard. It covers terms, definitions, and rules, followed by a close look at the purpose for each of the 14 GD&T symbols.

GD&T ADVANCED CONCEPTS Dec. 6-7  |  $845  |  2 Days
This two-day course is a continuation of GD&T Fundamentals, again focusing on practical GD&T applications and introducing additional advanced concepts such as composite position, datum shift, and more complex GD&T Controls.

(APQP)

PRODUCTION PART APPROVAL PROCESS

Introduction to the PPAP process within an APQP system, its planning, strategy and benefits.  Learn the structure and its correlation to the rest of the AIAG core tools as well as ISO/IATF 16949.

FAILURE MODE AND EFFECTS ANALYSIS
(FMEA)

QC Training Services's Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) class is an introduction to the FMEA process within an APQP system, its planning, strategy and benefits.  Learn the structure and information sources for effective use of FMEA and its correlation to the rest of the AIAG core tools.

MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS ANALYSIS
(MSA)
Nov. 5-6 |  $845  |  2 Days
Attendees will discover the amounts and types of variations that exist in measurement systems, to ensure that product acceptance or process control decisions are based on "good data". In this 2-day (16 hour) class, attendees will learn how to conduct studies to evaluate variability due to bias, repeatability, reproducibility, stability and linearity. 

STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL
(SPC) BASICS

Basic Statistical Process Control (SPC) is an introduction to statistics and the data collection process.  The purpose is to provide practical instruction on the fundamental statistical tools used in modern process control methods, including the purpose, concepts and parameters associated with control charts and process capability.
